Since 2006 the association "Friends and Patrons of the Zoological Garden Eberswalde e.V." is supporting the zoo. The goal: to promote the zoo as a place of animal and species protection and to develop it as a place of environmental education - especially for young people. The highlight of each year is the tiger bike tour, all of which goes to the zoo.

Cycling for the zoo

Hundreds of zoo and bicycle enthusiasts take part in this non-profit cycling event for the benefit of the zoo. Thanks to the donations, numerous attractions have already been built on the zoo grounds. This bike tour is organized by the Association of Friends and Patrons of the Zoological Garden Eberswalde e. V.

How to help the zoo

You could symbolically become the owner of the tiger enclosure or own a part of the lion's body. Your name is presented in a dignified form in the zoo on a granite slab and is added to the zoo's annals as a friend and sponsor. Present your family or your company name prominently at Zoo Eberswalde.
