The Zoo School team at Eberswalde Zoological Garden cordially invites families to a colourful autumn program that promises creativity, a love of animals and exciting nature experiences.

On three days a week – Monday, Wednesday and Friday – children are invited to learn interesting facts about our native trees from 9:00 to 12:00 and from 13:00 to 15:30 – in keeping with the autumnal atmosphere at the zoo. Imaginative lanterns can also be made from paper plates and tracing paper.

The offer takes place in the Zoo School and costs 2.50 euros per child plus admission to the zoo.

In addition to the program in the zoo school, there are exciting opportunities to experience animals up close.

On Tuesday at 13:30 there will be a feeding of the coatis, where interested visitors can learn lots of interesting facts about these curious and cute animals. On Thursday at 1:30 p.m., the Zoo School staff invite visitors to join in with the feeding of the fallow deer – an experience especially for children who would like to get active themselves. No registration is necessary for either feeding, the meeting point is directly in front of the animal enclosure.

Whether discovering nature, doing handicrafts or meeting animals – the Zoo School is looking forward to curious children, interested parents and a lively exchange with all young and old zoo fans.
Please note: The Zoo School will be closed on Friday, 31.10.2025. The zoo will be open as usual!

The duration is approx. 30-45 minutes. A zoo school fee of €2.50 per person is charged for the creative and educational program at the zoo school. The vacation programs are only held in German.
